عن برنامج OINP
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program. Ontario nominates people with the skills and experience its economy needs for permanent residence, and IRCC makes the final PR decision.
Ontario rebuilt the program in 2026. Amendments to Ontario Regulation 422/17 came into force on June 25, 2026. They removed the eight former streams and introduced the Ontario Workforce Priority stream as Phase 1 of a two-phase redesign. Workforce Priority covers workers with a qualifying Ontario job offer in any NOC TEER category, plus self-employed physicians. The EOI portal opened on August 4, 2026, and registering an EOI does not guarantee an invitation.
A nomination is not permanent residence. If Ontario nominates you, you still apply to IRCC for PR within 6 months. TEER 0-3 job-offer applicants and self-employed physicians can ask to be nominated through Express Entry, which adds 600 CRS points. TEER 4-5 nominations use the non-Express Entry provincial nominee route.

Ontario Workforce Priority
The only live OINP stream as of ontario.ca’s July 14, 2026 hub update. Three pathways: TEER 0–3 job offer, TEER 4–5 job offer, and self-employed physician (no job offer). Confirm every detail on ontario.ca before you file.

Job offer: TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3
- Full-time, permanent Ontario job offer
- Work experience under one of the published options on the stream page
- Language generally CLB 6 (CLB 5 for certain listed trades)
- Education: post-secondary degree or diploma floor for most TEER 0-3 roles
Job offer: TEER 4 or 5
- Full-time, permanent Ontario job offer
- 9 months cumulative experience in the job-offer position with that employer in the last 2 years
- Language: CLB 4
- Education: Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent
Self-employed physicians (no job offer)
- Member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Eligible certificate class (independent, academic, or provisional)
- Eligible to bill through OHIP
- A postgraduate education licence alone does not meet this route
