Who qualifies for the Skilled Military Recruits category?

Short answer: According to IRCC's criteria for the category, candidates are generally expected to have at least 10 years of continuous service in a recognized foreign military, a guaranteed full-time Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) job offer of at least 3 years, and a post-secondary credential of 2 years or more.

A foreign credential is assessed through an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). Because this is a brand-new and narrowly defined category, the requirements are strict and still settling into place.
