About Intra-Company Transfer

The Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) program allows multinational companies to temporarily transfer qualified employees to their Canadian parent, subsidiary, branch, or affiliate. This is an excellent pathway for executives, senior managers, and workers with specialized knowledge.

One of the biggest advantages of the ICT work permit is that it does not require a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), making the process faster and more streamlined. After gaining Canadian work experience, many ICT holders transition to permanent residence through Express Entry or Provincial Nominee Programs.

Go Far Global works with both employers and employees to ensure smooth transfers that comply with IRCC requirements while setting up a pathway to permanent residence.
